Elliot for Water is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing clean water solutions worldwide. Its platform combines web applications, browser extensions, and digital tools to engage supporters, share updates, and manage projects efficiently.

Challenge

The organisation’s legacy .NET website and browser extension limited scalability and maintainability. A technical overhaul was required to improve product performance, streamline updates, and support future growth. Additionally, planning product architecture, roadmap, and costs was critical to align technical solutions with organisational goals.

Solution

Pakufi led the migration of the website and browser extension from .NET to Next.js, implementing a modern, scalable architecture. Open-source solutions were introduced alongside a company blog to increase transparency and engagement. Pakufi also oversaw CI/CD implementation, server configuration, and overall product planning. Collaboration with the CEO and participation in business meetings ensured technical decisions aligned with strategic priorities, optimising resources and costs.
