Challenge

As Delivery Hero expanded globally, the company needed a scalable web platform that could be easily duplicated and adapted for new markets. Ensuring consistent branding and functionality while allowing local teams to personalise the platform for their region was a key challenge.

Solution

Pakufi contributed in the development of a flexible theming system for the platform, enabling new countries to build websites, e-commerce pages, or internal tools on top of the core Delivery Hero theme. This parent-child theming approach ensured a consistent global frontend while allowing local teams to customise branding, colours, and signatures for their market. The work focused on the concept of theming and the implementation of the frontend/UI layer, providing a robust, scalable foundation for international expansion.
